It has come to our attention that scammers are sending emails posing as the Town of Durham requesting wire transfers to pay for invoices due to the Town of Durham. We would never ask anyone to wire money to the town. Please don’t hesitate to call the town office if you have received an email and you are unsure whether it is legitimate.
